The sheer number and diversity of animals in the world have led scholars in this area to rank in different kinds of animals such as wild animals, marine animals, animals, mammals and oviparous animals, among others. Some of them are usually much more complex than others but generally the kinds of animals are divided according to its mobility, which can be quadrupeds or bipeds, according to the structure that holds your body which will vertebrate or invertebrate, also are classified as the environment in which dwell either terrestrial or aquatic animals and the type of food that will have, herbivores, carnivores and omnivores. These are just some of the many kinds of animals that exist, but it is important to note that most of the animals possess several characteristics which makes belong to more than one class of animals. In the case of four-legged animals we can say that they move from one place to another using their own means, which are four feet.
The bipeds on the other hand, are those with two legs only used to move from place to place and mostly, bipedal animals are the different types of bird. Another class of animals are vertebrates, which are those that have a skeleton, with a respective spine as well as having a skull bone, plus they also have a central nervous system is formed mainly by the spinal cord.
Contrary to that, are invertebrate animals that just do not have a skeleton nor a vertebral column, some examples are insects and some species of marine life. In the case of land animals are those that inhabit the earth, but can also move through the water and air and aquatic animals are of course those who live in the water. The last classes of animals we have left to mention have a lot to do with the feeding of, as for example, are carnivores that eat meat, herbivores are food herbs, fruits and vegetables and animals are omnivores that while feed on vegetation, do not have any problems with digesting meat. Other animals that may be mentioned are the mammals, which at birth are fed breast milk and differ from other animals because they have hair all over his body, and we must also mention the oviparous animals, arising from the eggs laid by their mothers, and viviparous, that are developing in the womb.
